My review of Knickernappies products can be found on Wee Little Changes' blog! :)
I love my knickernappies diapers and inserts. I now have two sized knickernappies, and two onesize diapers. I also have LoopyDo inserts for the two one size diapers and a SuperDo. I love the inserts that they make.
One of the one size Knickernappies that I have I actually won from them. I got to finally get my favorite one, Chocolate! I would post a picture, but for some reason the uploader for blogger does not seem to like me right now. :)

Mama Dweeb's Organizher giveaway
Hi all! Thanks to Mama Dweeb, I think I am in love. She has recently posted a new giveaway for some OrganizHer products by Mead. She reviews some great products, but also has a link to the product sheet that shows you everything the Mead makes for this line of products. I would love if I won seeing as you get all the products she reviewed PLUS a $25 gift card to Target (where the products are sold)! They have everything from memo books for the busy mom to family planners and shopping organizers. You really should check out her review and giveaway and check out the products sheet she has posted (link found under the Mandatory entry).

I Won!
So, I have won some giveaways in the past, and I really want to make sure I thank those bloggers as well, but for now I am going to start with my most recent win. Thanks to BethAnne over at Happily Domestic, I will soon be receiving a very cute smartipants one size diaper. I am super excited as I have been wanting to try this diaper out, but of course, Hubby is starting to cut off my diaper money as I have become a little obsessed. :)
On Earth Day, Happily Domestic had a special edition of her Fluff Talk Thursdays. She wanted to know what her readers did to help the environment and offered a giveaway. Today I found out that she has already ordered the diaper for me. This was not a sponsored giveaway, she is doing this one on her own and I am very thankful. So a big Thank you to BethAnne over at Happily Domestic!

Two Years Already!
My Little man turned two Saturday. I can't believe it. I don't know where the time went. We had his "birthday party" for our friends on Thursday night at our local chinese restaurant (where we go every Thursday night with friends). LJ got some great stuff, but of course his favorite thing is a road racing kind of car that makes lots of noise and does "burnouts." Our friend has a son one month younger (BB) than LJ and BB was the one to pick LJ's gift.
On Sunday we had family over to celebrate LJ's birthday with us. Parking was interesting, but everyone seemed to have a blast. LJ Particularly enjoyed his cake.
Well, better said, he enjoyed playing with and destroying his cake...
Yes, he would scoop up icing in the scoop of his front end loader and off load it in his mouth. :)
And I think we found two of his favorite gifts (that we will let him play with now).
Overall, I am happy that he seems to love what he got, but also, he didn't get a ton of things that I just have to pack away for the big move. :)
I don't know where the time has gone. I can still vividly remember the night he was born, but that night is one I am sure I won't forget as it was so memorable in so many ways...

Is it Saturday yet?
This is a rough week and it has barely begun! Hubby is away this week for work. He left Friday morning and won't be home until Saturday morning sometime. The only reason he is coming home this weekend is because it is LJ's second birthday! If it wasn't LJ's birthday and party this weekend, Hubby would be gone for more like the rest of the month of April. Yeah, fun, not really.
LJ noticed Daddy not coming home the very first afternoon. Friday night was a bear of a night. He woke up two different times. Then, the second time, I brought him in to bed with me to try to calm him down and see if he would sleep better next to me since in his crib was not working. The moment I put him on the bed by his daddy's pillow, he started crying even more and just saying "daddy, daddy, daddy." Boy did that just tear my heart apart. I miss Hubby as it is when he has to go out of town for more than a day or two. This is the first trip he has taken that LJ has been aware of his absence and really been affected by it.
Today I went out and bought a webcam for my computer so that Hubby and I could use skype and LJ can see his daddy then. Well, as soon as Hubby's face came up on the screen, LJ was all smiles and giggled. I still had to take him for a car ride to get him to fall asleep. When I tried putting him is his crib the first time, he instantly clung to my shirt and started bawling. I hoped he would calm down and fall asleep, but after 5 minutes of listening to my little one just cry like he lost his favorite toy, I had to take him for a ride.
I could not have a repeat of last night. Last night, LJ was up until 11! Normally bedtime is 8. I tried everything last night and finally had to put him in his crib and let him cry himself to sleep. He was so exhausted, but wanted the little nap on the way home from dinner to be enough sleep for the evening. I really hope this week starts to go better than the weekend in terms of Little Boy getting better going to bed and all.
I do know one thing. He will be more than thrilled when his daddy comes home Saturday. Which I think is going to be a totally awesome birthday present all by itself!

A fresh look and starting over (well sort of)
Hi all. I am actually finding time in between everything to sit down and blog a little. LJ is in bed and I am ready to go to bed myself after an eventful day. Hubby left on business yesterday and he won't be back until this next Saturday. In an attempt to keep what sanity I have left, I went out to dinner with my parents and little sister. That ended with Sis coming to have a sleep over at my place. It has been forever since I have had a sleep over, but that is a different post all together. :)
So, we are working on selling our house, buying another one, and moving. LJ will be two in a week. That means we are having a party. That is awesome, but I am going to be having family over, from both sides, and we have one of those PODS sitting in our front drive. What limited parking options we already have, have now been decreased even more. Fun.
But, now to get on topic....
It seems as though things are falling in to place, but not where I thought they might. Since beginning cloth diapering, I have found myself wanting to be more natural with more of our lives. I am now in love with more natural cleaners and making my own household cleaners. I am wanting to eat more naturally and everything.
On top of that, this move has brought about another change. I do like to be organized and have a house I can invite people over to without having to worry about how clean everything is and what kind of image the house is portraying. It is like getting to move things to a new house is making it that we can organize things like we have always wanted, but just got stuck since we had been doing things differently for so long. We are getting to start fresh and redo what we have been doing to what we want to be doing.
With everything that is going on in life right now, I am in love. I recently got my hair cut again and that has just renewed me as well. I feel lighter in so many ways. I know that might sound corny, but it is true. When it might seem like I have taken on way more than I can chew, I feel better than ever. In a way I am starting things fresh with the house and living and in my faith (being the director of VBS and all) and it is changing things all for the better. Where I thought I was going, isn't where I am going anymore. Who knew?!
Have you ever felt like you are doing a 180 and loved it? What caused it for you? For me it seems to be a combination of everything.
did moving to a new place ever give you the chance to start new with the way you live? Did it last, and for how long? I am really hoping that this want of organization lasts and we don't fall right back in to the disorganization we have been dealing with.

Sickie LJ
Well, early last week we found out LJ has an upper respiratory infection that moved to his ear. So, LJ has his very first ear infection. :( His doctor put him on Augmentin (well, it is the generic, really) for ten days, twice a day. Boy can it be "oh-so-fun" to try giving a two year old meds he really doesn't want to be taking. Luckily we have started making it a little bit of a game to see how fast he can take it. Then we all high five. It seems to be working.
One thing that the doc. warned us of is that the medication can give some kids diarrhea. On day two of the meds, LJ had quite the diaper. I was like, there is no way I want to going through tons of cloth dipes that are this nasty. Yeah, it was nasty. So, we moved to cloth for a bit to save my sanity and laundry. :) Of course, that was it. Then in the two days we have LJ in sposies, he does nothing. So, since I was going nuts not doing cloth, and LJ was obviously doing fine handling the meds without it upsetting his system, we have moved back to cloth.
I am amazed how much I was disliking going with disposables again. If LJ would make a messy diaper, it was usually after we just changed him. I hate having to waste a disposable because he poo-ed. With cloth it doesn't get wasted because I just wash it and we are back to normal. You know, I think that is one great thing about cloth versus disposables. You don't really have wasted diapers. I love it!
So, we are still on the meds, but back in cloth. Being as LJ still acts sick sometimes, my computer time is even more limited than it was before. I am only writing this because I finally just had to sneak down to the basement to "check my mail" and blog a little. :)
I hope everyone has had a great Easter!
He is Risen!
He is Risen indeed!
